I am excited to speak to you this week about how honored I feel to have the privilege to create products that you all love so much.
Way back in 2003-2004, I had no idea what today would be like for me and my family. I found a perfect quote that sums up how I have felt over the past several years while building Spellbinders... It goes like this:
"Come to the edge, life said. They said, we are afraid. Come to the edge, life said...They came. It pushed them....and they flew". (Guillaume Apollinaire 1870-1918)

Fly we did. We have flown into the ups and the downs. Always flying and always believing in the course we were on.
I'm so very happy to say that all of our supporters have kept us flying and without all of you, We couldn't even begin to learn how to fly! I'm so honored that Spellbinders has won three more awards this week for our innovative dies and Grand Calibur machine at The UK trade show known as Stitches. Your nomination, votes and support reinforces my will to keep steadfast on our course.
We won Best Gadget Machine and Best New Product for Shapeabilities Die Templates for 2012 given at the Crafts Beautiful Award Ceremony.
Martin Lack, Group Adverstisement Manager from Crafts Beautiful presented the award to Kim Hupke, Spellbinders Director of Education!

This means so much to us because it is voted by the readers of the Crafts Beautiful and Lets Make Cards Magazines!
And to our complete surprise we won the 2013 British Craft Awards for Best Craft Die of the Year for our 2012 Holiday Tree... This award was sponsored by Immediate Media Company in association with Craft Hobby and Stich!

Many of you may not be aware of this, but each year Spellbinders offers two yearly holiday dies ... Usually one is a tree and the second one is an ornament. Each year we change the design.

I'm so happy that Kim, Jerry and Ken were all on hand to accept the awards at Stitches. I told all of you in an earlier blog post that Spellbinders LOVES the UK and this proves how much you love us right back! So from the bottom of my heart.... Thank you all!
The report from stitches is that everyone was very excited about Spellbinders new Imperial Gold dies and our fabulous 3D M-Bossabilities because there is NOTHING like them in our industry :)
The classes were all sold out!

One of the highlights of going to Stitches is dinner at the Wing Waah with our UK distributors. They always celebrate birthdays with the amazing fire cake! This year’s honoree was our Ken Oliver!! Ken....its official... Your part of the "pack"!!

Thanks everyone for a wonderful show!!
Hugs,
