by Laura Petersen   Post Type: Other Craft Projects

Hello its me again Laura from Pink Cake Plate and I am here today to share with you one of the cutest little Valentine's I have seen and I was able to recreate it using a few of my Spellbinder dies and I even got fancy and did some embossing!!  I love Valentines it is almost my favorite holiday there are so many cute ideas to make and share this time of year!!  So are your ready to see how to make this Rock Star Valentine!!

Cute isnt it??  Ok here is what you will need to make this darling Valentine!

Here is your list of Supplies:

Spellbinder Supplies

Other Supplies

  • Pkg Pop Rock Candy
  • 3"x3" pink card stock
  • 3 2"x2" pieces of coordinating papers (for notes)
  • 1 2 1/4"x2" rectangle card stock
  • Stapler and staples
  • 3 pink self adhesive rhinestones
  • Foam double stick tape

Ok lets get started!!

I first cut the 2 1/4"x2" rectangle out of my card stock and simply stapled this to the package of Pop Rocks.

Pretty simple!!  With my Grand Calibur I cut out the scallop circle and I even embossed it!!

Here is a close up of the embossing I know its pretty simple but it makes this little circle look finished!

With a marker I wrote the sentiment on the scalloped circle.  And then with the Grand Calibur and Love Note Dies punched out 3 love notes out of 3 coordinating papers!!  So cute!

With the foam tape I secured the circle and the notes to the Pop Rock package.

Then I added a little bling and it is ready to go!!!

And there you have this adorable valentine!!  I know its a little early for this but I just couldn't resist!!!

Just wondering--in the second picture the musical notes are lying in the proper position, but when they are applied to the valentine, they are backwards.  Musical notes have flags that go to the right. Can you explain?

    Deb,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.  It just seemed to look more appealing with the notes positioned as they are on the actual card.
