How many years of crafting?
I began crafting in high school when my grandma taught me how to quilt. I didn’t discover paper until my oldest son was born, a little over six years ago. Scrapbooking is my primary focus, but I love using my supplies for cardmaking and home decor as well.

How long have you been blogging?
I’ve had PreservationArts for over five years as an online gallery of my scrapbook pages and cards. I converted it to a blog only about five months ago

Your favorite Spellbindersâ„¢ technique?
I enjoy digitally stenciling, stamping or embellishing designs to match Spellbindersâ„¢ templates. After creating a digital design, I print it out, then cut and emboss to give it extra some pizazz. I’m a true hybrid girl!

Your favorite Spellbindersâ„¢ die?
This is such a difficult question! S4-014 Timeless Heritage and S3-004 Symbology hold special places in my heart because they were among the very first Spellbindersâ„¢ templates of their kind and being a part of their initial release was so exciting! Their classic designs have been my go-to items for nearly five years. I’m really loving some of the more recent releases as well, but there are just too many wonderful dies to choose only one!

Favorite food/beverage for crafting?
I don’t eat anything while crafting because I’m klutzy and can make a mess out of almost anything. I do indulge in Diet Coke sometimes, but I do most of my projects at night so I try to keep the caffeine to a minimum. Otherwise it takes me hours to get to sleep!

Here are a few examples of Jennifer’s work:

Heidi Blankenship showed her beautiful creations with the S4-208 In Spades Pendant and the S4-217 In Spades Borderabilities® yesterday. Thank you, Heidi, for an amazing inspiration! Remember you have until June 28th (11:59PM EST) to enter to win.

Welcome To Day 7 of the Spellbindersâ„¢ Pendants Blog Frenzy!!

For Day 7, Linda Duke will show us what she did with the S4-206 Renaissance Hearts Pendant and the S4-215 Renaissance Hearts Borderabilities®.

***Remember you need to send an email to enter! Link is in Linda’s Blog! Good luck!!***

How many years of crafting?
As long as I can remember, I have always been interest in art.  My dad was a very talented artist, and I would spend hours watching him draw.  I always had paper and pencil in hand and tried to draw the things he did.

Your favorite Spellbindersâ„¢ technique?
My favorite technique would have to be coloring with either PrismaColor Pencils or Copic Markers. Both are great for achieving a realistic look and perfect for shading.

Your favorite Spellbindersâ„¢ die?
As for my favorite die, that’s difficult because I really enjoy them all, but my favorite would be the Nestabilities®. They are perfect for card making and stamping.

One thing you get inspiration for and why?
Magazines: I collect all of them. Since I live in a small town, they help me stay up to date with what’s going on in the industry.

Here are some of Linda’s beautiful work!

How many years of crafting?
I’ve been crafting in one or another since I was about 8 years old. I remember weaving pot holders and selling them to the neighbors for pennies (I guess you can say that was my first paying job too). That would mean, that I’ve been crafting for 42 years now.

How long have you been blogging?
I started my own website in November of 2005 with daily posts. When Splitcoaststampers offered blogs to the Daily Dozen Alumni, I jumped on the bandwagon and my first blog post there was February 24, 2007.

Your favorite Spellbindersâ„¢ die?
I think my favorite Spellbinders dies are the S4-202 Large Deckled Rectangles and the S4-201 Small Deckled Rectangles Nestabilities® and the S4-085 Snowflake Wonder.

Favorite food/beverage for crafting?
I always have coffee or Diet Coke (and sometimes chocolate) close at hand.

One thing you get inspiration from and why?
Most times I draw inspiration from art work of wallpaper that I see in different places that I go. I also like to browse the Kohl’s Sunday ads for pictures of any art they might have on sale.

Here are some of Sherry’s recent works of art!

How many years of crafting?
I have always been a crafty person. Even in my childhood I was always making something or remaking something

How long have you been blogging?
I began my blog July 4th 2006…so wow, almost three years!!!

Your favorite Spellbindersâ„¢ technique?
I love to leave my die on my cut cardstock or paper and use it as a mask/stencil with my Copic Air Brushing System.

Your favorite Spellbindersâ„¢ die?
Seriously??? There is NO WAY I could choose!!!

Favorite food/beverage for crafting?
I don’t really eat or drink while I am crafting…except when it is deadline crunch time…then Dr Pepper is usually near at hand
