A Special Message from Stacey Caron

Hello my paper crafting friends,

It’s Stacey here with my husband, Jeff. We are the co-creators of the Wizard.  We started with a small idea in 2003: make a universal die cut machine with die templates that are the most detailed on the market. We are so thrilled to be celebrating our 5th Anniversary with you, our loyal customers and fans.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all my Spellbinders’ Designers and Bloggers for their inspiring and beautiful sneak peeks. Its true, Spellbinders Die Templates are the most beautiful and detailed dies available today but it’s our designers that give you the wonderful vision on how to apply our die templates to your paper crafting projects. My vision from the beginning of Spellbinders was to form a Design Team SUPERIOR to any in the industry.  I think that goal has been achieved! I am looking forward to all the new 2009 Design Team Contest entries pouring in after CHA!

Immediately after CHA last summer I started to create the new die concepts that you see today… truly it’s never ending. After reading some of the posts from our awesome supporters, I realized that most of you do not know how or who makes the Spellbinders’ Die Templates come alive…

Toni has been with us since the beginning of Spellbinders and Fernando is going on two years with the company! Time flies when you are having fun. So, thank you from the bottom of all of our hearts for your support, it really does mean the world to us that you like the newest designs… it makes all my sleepless nights worth it.

I have been watching the excitement from everyone’s posts over the past few weeks.  It has been a blast to see the list of die templates grow each day. To see all the comments come in from excited paper crafters and the very excited winners, has been priceless.

Anyone who knows me, knows this next comment is so true
If I could, I’d give you all prizes! (but then I couldn’t send my boys to college some day!! And aren’t they adorable!!)”

So, before I say bye for now, I have to tease you just a little. We have created one more new and fabulous product that I know you are going to swoon over. But you’ll have to wait a few more days. We will introduce this innovative product right here, on our Blog the day the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show opens: Sunday, January 25,
9 am Pacific Time. You will want to be here.

I do have a little hint: imagine we got tired of embossing and wanted to spend some time debossing. Well, let that simmer a bit and come visit back here on Sunday to see what the buzz is about.

Then check out the website to see all the new die templates that are being released! We can’t wait because there is much more to come!

Well, its time to pack my bags, we’re off to CHA!  Come see all the new products and artwork in booth 4873, and say hello too!

Yours in the details,

Stacey

Hi Stacey, just a quick note to say thank you for the giveaways…even tho’ I have not won anything - yet!, I am excited for those who have….they are going to love them!!!!! I use mine almost everytime I make a card and would not trade them for anything. Saving my dollars to get a few of the new ones out…unless, of course, I win.

I first saw you at a scrapbooking expo and you were there demonstrating the wizard and your great dies..Your husband was at the register and one of your boys was at his feet…and the other one was on the floor near you…The whole family was involved and your boys were a lot smaller..
Best of all to you and your family and again Thank You.

  11. Jeani Says:

Thank you for sponsoring the contests. The dies are incredible and so versatile. The different projects for each design have really gotten those creative sparks flying! There are many talented people out there but it still takes good products like the Spellbinders dies to make those projects possible. I LOVE those new flowers, and while my collection of the dies is slowly growing, these dies are my always first choice for anything I make. You cannot believe how many people will comment on the detail and the embossing…and they are even more amazed when they see the projects my students make no matter the age, grade level or ability level! They all want to know how it’s done, and cannot believe how simple it really is to make something that looks so beautiful. Thank you!!

  12. Nicole K Says:

Stacey, we know that is so true. You and your boys are beautiful! Good luck at CHA!

P.S. Would it be possible to do a die reveal everyday for a year? ;-)

    Stacey,

Thank you for 5 years of wonderful, innovative products. I finally broke down about 3 years ago and bought my purple Wizard (thanks in large part to Jane’s recommendation in the Yahoo group!). I’ve never regretted my decision and your designs just keep getting better and better! I wish I could be at CHA to give you a great big hug, but that’s not in the cards for me (at least this year), so I’ll just settle for a virtual {hug} for now. (my fingers are still crossed that I’ll win one of the last prizes as part of the sneak preview, otherwise I’ll go broke buying all those dies!!!)

  21. Jayne Says:

I have been in love with Nestabilities since the first time I saw them a few years ago. I love creating with them and am so thankful for the sneak peeks. I’ll start shopping now! Beautiful dies, beautiful projects, thanks so much Stacey and the Spellbinders DT!!!

  28. Sharon in NE Says:

Thank you for doing this! You have a great team and you obviously know how to lead them because you create a mania when the new dies are announced. Congratulations on your success! And thank you again.

  29. Elisa Says:

Spellbinders is indeed the best product in the market. It has no competition really because the results you get with the Spellbinders dies are absolutely professional and the designs available are incredible. You cannot get these kins of results with the cricut or other cutting machines!

  31. Alice Golden Says:

Thank you so much for such a fun and inspiring few weeks! I am a fairly new convert to your dies, but they are already ones I reach for again and again on my projects. It’s wonderful to hear about a company being so successful, especially in these tough times - all the best at CHA!

  32. Laurie Says:

Stacey - What a wonderful idea you and your husband had not so many years ago. It’s great to know that good ideas can become a reality. I know I’ve enjoyed using your products. They certainly have helped me create some beautiful cards which in turn makes me feel like an artist. Thanks so much for your hard work….I’m sure there have been sacrifices, too, so thanks for those, as well.

  33. Heather Says:

    Hi Stacey.
Sadly I missed out on all the drama of the last few weeks. I have just found out about your wonderful die system! (Blog hopping) You and your team are inspirational - I have a list as long as my arm of the ‘dies’ I need….alas it will take me a lifetime to buy!! I’m eager to see the new additions tomorrow. Your family look lovely and you must be very proud of all you have achieved. Have a lovely weekend - safe trip.
    Heather (in the UK)

  34. Julie GM Says:

    Hi Stacy -

I first saw your products on a card maker’s blog! We met in the stamp aisle at Michaels. I LOVE your products! Santa didn’t bring me my Nesties for Xmas… I promise, I wasn’t bad (we just make it all about our girls!) However, my bday is coming up! I’m hoping my husband orders them quick! I want to submit for the Design Team, but I don’t think I’ll have them in time!

    Have a great show!

  35. Sue Beaton Says:

    Hi Stacy,
I live in the UK. in a village near a small town called Evesham.
This is the first time I have seen your blog. I have been in love with your products from day 1, I saw a small piece about the wizard on a programme called Create and Craft on our shopping channels, that was it I was sold on your system. It only took me another two years to get my hands on one. Then I found out that I could use all my other dies with the wizard. Well I sold off all but one of my other machines and I have been very slowly collecting your dies, I have only one of the nestabiities so far but they are high on my shopping list, I just have to figure out what order to get them in, thank you for making my cards so beautifull and easy.
