In honor of Black Friday, the traditional start of the Christmas shopping season, we are giving away 12 sets of Nesties™! You can win a set of Nesties™ by commenting on the Black Friday Blog Posts, once every 6 hours, starting at 12:00am Eastern Standard Time, November 27, 2009. We will give away 3 sets every 6 hours in the time slots as follows:
- 12:00-5:59 am EST: Ultra Early Bird Give-Away
- 6:00-11:59 am EST: Early Bird Give-Away
- 12:00-5:59 pm EST: Sleepin’ In Special
- 6:00-12:00 midnight EST: Gettin’ Back from the Mall Specials
Enter by posting a comment, on November 27, here on our Spellbinders™ Blog, only once in each time slot, for a total of 4 times. Entrants are eligible for the time slot they enter in, and for the future drawings. For example, if you enter between 12:01 and 5:59 am, you will be entered in all four drawings. You may enter again after 6:00 am to double your chance of winning, enter again after 12:00pm to triple your odds, and again after 6:00pm to for a total of four entries.
Spellbinders™ will draw three prize winner names from Random.org for each time slot. Each individual winner will receive one new Nesties™ set as announced, retail value of $80. A total of 12 winners will be announced on November 27-28, 2009. The total retail value of all prizes is $960.00.
A few details to remember:
- You may enter once per time slot.
- Entries are time stamped and will be considered for the drawings according to the time stamp.
- A valid email address is required to enter. Emails will not be used for any purpose other than to contact winners.
- By entering this contest, entrants give Spellbinders Paper Arts permission to post winner’s name on the Spellbinders™ Blog and in promotional material.
- Winners will be announced here, on the Spellbinders™ Blog throughout the day on November 27, 2009.
- Winners may only win once throught the course of the contest.
- Winner must respond to winner email notification by Tuesday, December 1, 2009, or forfeit their prize.
- All comments are moderated. Your comment will not be visible until our Blog Team approves it. We will approve all comments, but reserve the right to delete those pesky spammers that ocassionaly visit.
- Middle of the night comments will be approved before the 6:00 am drawing, please allow us some beauty sleep!

Our readers are world wide, so if you don’t actually live in the Eastern Standard Time zone, please compare your time zone to Eastern Standard and either add or subtract the hours.

Well, it took me a while but I finally found this blog site. I am so excited about this Black Friday contest. It is better than the pies I made today and let me tell you, those pies were fantastic. Anyway, I discovered spellbinders and the wonderful wizard about a year and a half ago. I love it so much that I have two wizards. One wizard is at home in Texas while the other one is at my commuter place in Michigan. I pack my dies in my crew bags and can then play even if I cant get home to Texas. Ahhhh…. the perks of being a flight attendant. Anyway, I have all of my fingers, toes and eyes crossed hoping to win a set of these babies……good luck to all and I pray everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving……

Spellbinder Dies Rock!! I have about 7 or 8 sets and I am slowly collecting them one by one.. I teach card and scrapbooking classes privately in a few ladies houses and Spellbinder’s are one of my top tools I use.. They are easy to use, great array of shapes/sizes and so easy to pack up and take with me..
I just got home from traveling to spend Thanksgiving with family and I truly am feeling extremely fortunate for what I have in life and my crafting is one of those things!!

Whenever I use the nestabilities I am always amazed at how something that looks so simple could be so effective. As someone once said… the greatest thing since sliced bread
I am creative - not mathematical so I have no idea how to figure out time zones - hopefully this will be accepted in the first time slot.

Well…after being up at 5am to cook turkey and dressing for my hubby to take to his sister’s for dinner and then leave for work, I got home late to check email, (I did get to have dessert with my hubby) got curious and had to go see the new Nestabilities. All I can say is wow! I own a few dies for one of the original “signed” Wizards and admit I haven’t played enough with my machine.
They make a gal want to pull out her Wizard, buy some “Nesties” and get those creative juices flowing. I can just envision some pretty Christmas ornaments dangling from the tree or the windows…made with the flower Nesties. So here I am blogging for the first time in my life. Besides, I have to got back to work in a few hours.
AND I get to repeat this for a few more days! So I really feel thankful that I have a job that I love (I’m a nurse), family to love (and who tolerate me, too), good health, Thanksgiving leftovers and some change in my pocket to shop for crafty stuff like Spellbinders is creating. Keep up the great work!

Reporting in from San Diego…PST…just in case. Well, I wasn’t sure along with the others as to whether or not this would be counted(next contest like this you might want to clarify that you know when we’re clocking in…some of us so do try to follow instructions…), but after seeing someone else’s comment and your response, now I know. Especially with only being able to enter once during a time period. Other than that, great contest idea. Nice that it is long 6-hour periods…gives everyone a chance…especially if you enter first round you are automatically entered in all 4….for those people who insist on joining the madness on Black Friday. All the sets being given away are great….I love especially that you do octagons…if one does Chinese stuff…then there is the bau gau which is always depicted as an octagon(the one with all of the building blocks that make up the I Ching 64 fortunes). So, it is a very auspicious shape. Wishing everyone an auspicious holiday system…may you find the treasures that you are looking for!

I have a few rectangles and ovals, but I sure would like more shapes. Although I can cut al kinds of shapes with my plotter I so like the embossing rim on the nestabillities! Specially interrested in the flowershapes to make lovely toppers for boxes and cards.

Well, I have never used Nesties, because I can NOT afford to buy them. I have a very limited income. So, it would be nice to win a whole set of them. I have done a fair amount of card making, but not just recently. Some of my supplies were sent to the Philippines, when my husband left Korea about two years ago. We found out the hard way that they don’t deliver to the address.

I love all my nesties, & have several, but none of the ones being offered as freebies. I also love the borderabilities, impressabilities & other spellbinders products I have. Having been created in the image of the greatest creator of all, God, our Heavenly Father & Creator, I go kind of crazy when I can’t being doing something creative due to lack of time or other responsibilities. I didn’t realize I had such a passion for creativity until I started playing with paper. What I great way to help four lucky winners add to their collection! I just returned from a four day card making weekend away with nine friends-one of them had some of the “nesties” and we all got hooked! Had to stop at several places on the way back in order to raid some stores as we would wipe their supply out wherever we stopped! Keep up the great work!

Good Morning! I missed registering for the previous time slot (too much turkey dinner last night, YUM), but I’m hoping to be spot on for the rest of the day!
Nesties our my favorite product this year! There are so many wonderful designs to choose from I want them all! I’m currently trying to decide which set to get next…the scallop squares or circles. I only have 2 sets right now (I just recently updated my cutting system so I can use them). I am in awe at all the sets available and everytime I visit the website I find something new I want!

I love the nestabilities different sizes plus you can cut emboss and stencil. When cutting out patterns or photos you can cut them out precisely where you want them. They are so compact and don’t take up lots of storage room either. I am addicted to them and you just keep fetching better ones out with good ideas. My card making and scrapbooking ideas are endless thanks to you.

Since nesties were introduced at A C Moore they have sold out more times than I can count. I’ve managed to get many of them, and have a huge box already cut out to use in the future.

I just got some Spellbinder dies not 2 months ago. Started with the circle and square, loved them and then went all out on frames, borders, and singles. You have a wonderful product that can be used so many ways, it has opened a whole new world of paper art for me, thanks thanks thanks.

Nesties are just the best…I love them…They are so small and compact that you can carry an entire collection with you as you travel. The designs are wonderful. Wow, Linda Duke’s Gage scrapbook layout is just adorable! Re: my own Holiday cards, I have seen so many fun and beautiful ideas on various blogs, and cannot settle on just one card style this year. Back from shopping and hoping to be lucky enough to win. I’m sure most of you know this tip but thought I would share for those of you who don’t. I store my nesties in metal cd tins with magnetic sheets glued on the back. I have a picture of the nestie inside glued on the cover of the tin.

Happy Thanksgiving. I love your dies. They produce the best detail in the cut and the embossing is so easy and comes out beautiful.
Winning one of these beautiful dies would be great to add to my limited collecton. I have one Nestable and it’s great. This product allows you to be as creative as you would like to be, let loose and go for the creativity with these dies.

Nesties are great, although I would have been more impressed with a “create a tree” shape over the limited edition “Nested Pine Trees.” You’ve done such a great job with the “Create a Flake 1″ & “Create a Flake 2″ sets, that it would have been wonderful, & you’d have been miles ahead of your competitors with a “Create a Tree” set that allowed for dimension, detail & layering of trees, like you did with the flakes. But maybe that’ll be an idea for next year.

I love the spellbinders and I have the wizard machine and also the big shot machine in which I use both depending on what I am creating. Love all the different shapes and especially the poinsetta which I have used on Christmas cards and packages. Great product.

I work with Seniors with dementia day care program. My seniors love to do papercrafts arnd Spellbinders are perfect for them to work with. I just got the Poinsetta die (3 layers) and we are using it to make “brooches” for Christmas.
Our material is the glittered foamies in red and white they are BEAUTIFUL.
It would be wonderful to win a set of Spellbinders ..as our funding has been cut to the bone .

Boy oh Boy, I missed the first two time slots, but found the post on my facebook page in time to make it for the last two! On the notice I got on facebook there were certain things we were supposed to put in our comments….. so here goes! My first set of nestibilities (spellbinders) was the large ovals, from then on it became a passion. I love using the ones I have when making cards and scrapbook pages.
No leftovers today, we just finished celebrating our Thanksgiving a day late. I am thankful for many things but the most important is my faith, my family and my country. Aha, the next set of Spellbinders I would like to have, well, that would be a toss up of Labels 8 or Lattice Borderbilities. Actually I would like them all but being practical I have to narrow down my wishes!

Want to tell you, my son in Iraq, sent me a card made by a stamper in Oregon, where I used to live, that her group made for the SOLDIERS, he said “mom I had to send this to you, as you would really appreciate it. I did!

I finished shopping when we got our portraits made. My husband is 80 so we thought this would be a good year to do a good photo. I’ve shared with you three times now that I’m in Love with Spellbinders, and especially Nestabilities, and here is the fourth and last (for this Black Friday Give Away, anyway).
You asked what my first Nestabilities was ~ let’s see, I believe it was Classic Ovals Large because I like to use ovals as focal points on my cards and oval shapes are really hard to do freehand. LOL Not any more ~ I now have 6 different oval Nesties, half of them are scallops, and I do LOVE them all! I hope my luck holds out for a win (knock wood) today.

Thank you for turning the tables and giving us a wonderful gift! I have most of the basic nesties and a few specialties (butterflies and dragonflies etc. and an alphabet set. All are easy to use and do wonders for sparking creativity.

These nesties (#10) are the best. I have used them to back a pho(?) mirrors in the background for vase cards that I create. The other are great to use for placing those hard to reach label and circle layers and area’s.

Having used dies from several different companies I consider these dies to be the most functional dies currently on the market as they cut and emboss with the one die. Hi: Greetings from Alberta, Canada. What a fantastic idea for a fun drawing for some of your wonderful dies. My first die was S4-111 Classic Scalloped Ovals which I purchased and cut out BY HAND since at that time I was’t aware of the Wizard. Six months later I saw the Wizard and promply purchased it and haven’t looked back since. I love all your dies and I hope I am lucky enough to win and add some more to my collection today.

Don’t know what I’d do without my nesties. Already have several and have them on magnetic sheets on the wall right above my die cut machines. Use them more than any other die. Keep up the good work!!

I love the nesties that I currently own … I am a scrapbooker and cardmaker and find them useful in both.
The new fleur de lys dies are fantastic and I have used them in some of the cards I am making for Christmas. Glad to see you are combining dies to make them more affordable.

Yesterday was a huge letdown I tried to get on here and i just couldn’t the only page my computer keep kicking me off of so I went and got a computer from a friend today so I could get on here even though I missed all the goodies oh well thats my luck if it wasn’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all but at least I can get on now!!
