4¼ x 5½" card by Kimberly Crawford

Kimberly employed the Letter Press technique with Impressabilties™ to color the embossing on this lovely card. Nesting a Classic Rectangle inside of a Scalloped Rectangle produced a custom scalloped frame, and small dimensional butterflies finish it off.

Ingredients: I2-1004 Flowers; S4-132 Classic Rectangle LG; S4-133 Classic Scalloped Rectangle LG; S4-171 Nested Butterfly

Instructions:

1. Create dark brown card base.


2. Letterpress I2-1004 Flowers Impressabilities™ with yellow ink onto cream cardstock.


3. Adhere strip of polka dot patterned paper, with inked edges, to lower half of letter pressed cardstock.


4. Wrap ribbon around base, but wait to tie bow.


5. Cut/emboss S4-132 Classic Scalloped Rectangle LG and S4-132 Classic Rectangle LG nested into a frame, with cream cardstock.


6. Adhere frame to card.


7. Tie bow.


8. Adhere chipboard sticker to card.


9. Cut/emboss and ink the edges of two small S4-171 Nested Butterflies.


10. Adhere only the center of the body of the bottom butterfly to card, bending up the wings.
