12 x 12" Scrapbook Layout by Janine Blackwelder

Janine layered together Nestabilities® to make her journaling block, and accented it with the Holiday Cheer Stocking.  It was embellished with Flower Soft for texture and dimension.  The Poinsettia Border Grand makes an elegant statement on the layout, its a full 12" long!

Journaling: Every year it gets harder for dad to lift you high enough to reach the top of the tree. This year dad used a stool so that you could put the star on the tree top.

Ingredients: S4-141 Petite Scalloped Ovals SM; S4-225 Holiday Cheer; S5-019 Labels Eight; S7-016 Poinsettia Border Grand; I2-1009 Flourish; F-011 12 Piece Assorted Color Foil

Instructions: 

1. Cut (1) 2 x 12" piece of Core’dinations Rich Amber and Emboss with the I2-1009 Flourish. Distress with sanding block. Adhere to background paper 1½" from top with EZ-Runner.


2. Stamp image with black ink down left side and right lower corner.


3. Cut/Emboss (1) S5-019 Labels Eight #6 from green cardstock. Trim with Gold Leafing pen, adhere to embossed border ½" from top and right side of LO.


4. Cut/Emboss/Impress (1) S5-019 Labels Eight #5 from gold cardstock adhere to previous step.


5. Cut (1) S4-141 Petite Scalloped Ovals SM #5 from red pattern paper. Adhere to center of previous step with 3D foam squares. Trim label from sentiment sheet and adhere to center of previous step with 3D foam squares.


6. Cut/Emboss (1) S4-225 Holiday Cheer Hat from F-011 Red Foil. Using sanding block remove color from hat band and pom pom. Apply Flowersoft Glue and Polar White. Let dry. Adhere to previous step with 3D foam squares.


7. Mat photos with Rich Amber and green cardstock, distress first with sanding block and edge with brown ink.


8. Cut/Emboss/Impress (1) S5-019 Labels Eight #5 from red paper using I2-1009 Flourish, distress with sanding block to reveal pattern. Edge with Gold Leafing pen, adhere to lower left page.


9. Print or hand write journaling then cut using S5-019 Labels Eight #4 adhere to previous step.


10. Cut/Emboss (1) S7-016 Poinsettia Border Grand from a 1½" piece of green cardstock. Adhere to bottom of LO and embellish with glitter glue.
