Embossing at its finest, this card is beautiful!

Product Description

4¼ x 5½" card by Janine Blackwelder


Janine employed the letterpress technique, but instead of using colored ink, she used Top Boss Embossing ink and then heat embossed it with embossing powder. She layered two Fancy Tags that had been reverse stenciled with black ink. the Kaleidoscope Border Petite allowed for ribbon to be woven thru the card.  Gorgeous!


Ingredients: S4-235 Fancy Tags; S5-019 Labels Eight; I2-1009 Flourish; S4-216 Kaleidoscope Border Petite


Cross Promotional Products: Hero Arts, Script Messages; The Paper Company, Cardstock; Clearsnap, Top Boss Embossing Pad, Colorbox Black Pigment Ink; SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L, 3D Foam Squares, E-Z Runner


Other Supplies: Embossing Powder; Rhinestones; Ribbon; Heat Tool


Instructions:



  1. Cut/Emboss bottom of card with S4-216 Kaleidoscope Border Petite (embossing border die) placing the edge of the card just above the bottom cut edge to create a straight border.

  2. Thread with ribbon.

  3. Adhere a 1 x 5½" pink border along the inside to cover ribbon.

  4. Cut/Letterpress/Heat Emboss (2) S5-019 Labels Eight #3 from pink cardstock.

  5. Ink I2-1009 with embossing ink, letterpress, and heat emboss with embossing powder.

  6. Adhere to card front.

  7. Cut/Emboss/Reverse Stencil (2) S4-235 Fancy Tags using black ink on white cardstock.

  8. Stamp sentiment on one. Cut the decorative edge from the other and adhere to top and bottom with EZ-Runner. Adhere to card front with 3D foam squares.

  9. Embellish card with rhinestones.

  10. Cut/Emboss (1) S5-019 Labels Eight #5 from white cardstock, adhere to inside of card to stamp a sentiment or hand write a note.
