Hello, crafty friends! Brenda Noelke here from
My PaperCut Creations! I’m super excited to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing this step-by-step tutorial featuring the
Tree-mendous Christmas Stamp Set from the House Mouse Tree-mendous Collection!

These sweet mice are decking the halls, and each of the stamps in the collection showcases the House Mouse mice involved in holiday activities!! Let’s get started!!

I started by stamping the image in the
Tree-mendous Christmas Stamp Set onto an A2 panel of Neenah Solar White 80 lb. cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink using my
MISTI. Be sure to remove the foam pad or grip mat from the
MISTI before stamping, as the foam is on the cling stamp.

I used Copic markers to color the sweet scene using the following colors: N9, N7, N5, E29, E27, E25, E23, E59, E57, E55, E53, W9, W7, W5, YR00, E51, E50, G28, G16, G14, YG05, YR24, Y17, Y08, Y02, R59, R37, R35, R29, R43, BV000, RV000, B000, B60, B000, R20.

Next, I positioned the second-largest stitched rectangle die in the
Nested Postage Labels & Tag Die Set and taped it in place with the
Best Ever Craft Tape.

It was die-cut using the
Platinum SIX Machine with Universal Plate System using the following plates (bottom to top): A, B, C, stamped image, C.

I used the third-largest die in the
A2 Matting Basics A Card Creator Die Set to die-cut a rectangle that was a tiny bit larger than the scene rectangle from the Pearl Metallic cardstock in the
Ruby Treasured Cardstock Pack. I used the same
stitched rectangle die that I cut the scene from to cut a rectangle from a white
Pop-Up Die Cutting Foam Sheet. (I love dimension on my cards, but you could also skip this step.)

The largest die in the
A2 Matting Basics A Card Creator Die Set was cut from a panel of 80 lb. Neenah Solar White cardstock.

That panel was embossed with the
Flurry of Snowflakes 3D Embossing Folder using the following plates (bottom to top): A, embossing folder, D.

The sentiment, also from the
Tree-mendous Christmas Stamp Set, was positioned onto the scene panel in the
MISTI and stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. Be sure to let the ink dry completely or heat it to avoid smearing. Piment ink stays wet a bit longer.

All the rectangle layers were stacked and adhered together using
liquid glue, then adhered to an A2 panel of
Pomegranate cardstock. The
foam is between the smaller red rectangle and the snowflake embossed layer.

I added snowfall by adding dots to the image using a white gel pen. Make sure to add the dots over the colored image, since some of the snow would be falling in front of your mice and tree.

To finish, add a
Merry Moments Dimensional Snowflake and a
Spectrum AB Color Essential Gem to fill the upper, left area of the scene and repeat the snowflake theme.
Be sure to check out the entire House Mouse Tree-mendous Collection! Each one is cuter than the next!
