"I am delighted with my purchase. I refer to it has my pocket pal. A miniature size pal that does everything that big size Spellbinder die and emboss machine does ( only this one is dedicated to working with your smaller dies and embossing folders). The die cutting and embossing are detailed and crisp. Out of the box it came with an embossing folder with an arrangement of flowers, and the platform, and plates needed to die cut or emboss. Attached is a picture of the Platinum Scout (it fits in the palm of your hand) and the first embossed flower from the enclosed folder."

Great machine

"I already have a full sized machine that I like, but don’t have enough room for on my craft desk. The Scout doesn’t take much space and it’s been so nice not being constantly up and down between my desk and the standing workbench where my big machine lives. . I’ve done a bunch of die cutting with my Scout. I’ve had all clean cuts and it cranks smoothly. It does need a bit more attention than my big machine to make sure the plates are going in straight. I think that’s just because the Scout plates are so much narrower. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase."

Handy Mini Diecutting Machine

"I had wanted one of these fabulous little machines since it first hit the market. So was delighted to finally be able to get one here in New Zealand. I had a couple of hiccups with my machine, but thanks to Spellbinders excellent customer service it was sorted quickly and with care. I find it so handy to have it right on my desk as I’m crafting, super convenient for those smaller diecuts. It’s making my crafting much more efficient. I couldn’t be happier!"

Needs lots of pressure

"I have the 6" and was hoping I wouldn't need too much pressure for the little one but I need more pressure while rolling through. It is good for small dies with some pressure and may require 2 passes."

Little but Mighty

"I absolutely love my scout!! It’s so easy to use. I love the size of the plates because they allow you to use multiple dies at once. The size of the machine is perfect for me too. It’s very portable and light. I have a Tonic Studio table caddy that my scout and plate fit in making it so accessible while crafting at my desk. I still have room in my caddy. The white color is so classy too. I wish the machine’s handle would tuck away when not in use but that may take away how sturdy it feels in use so it really doesn’t take away from anything. I also thought I would want it to “suction” down to the table but it’s size makes it so easy to hold down even the kiddos can do it. Love love love it!!"
