Kitting & Assembly Coordinator – Craft Products
(Spellbinders Paper Arts / Hero Arts | Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time, On-Site)

Do you love working with your hands, take pride in doing things right, and find satisfaction in organized, detail-focused work? Spellbinders Paper Arts and Hero Arts — two leading craft brands — are looking for a Kitting & Assembly Coordinator to join our warehouse team in Phoenix.

This is a dedicated, full-time position with your own workspace in our warehouse. If you're someone who thrives in a focused, task-driven environment and takes real pride in accuracy and quality, this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble product bundles by collating 2–8 items, then bagging and labeling them; quantities typically range from 48 to several hundred units
  • Build craft kits for consumer and retailer events — including determining and sourcing supplies, coordinating bulk cardstock cutting, die cutting and embossing elements, and preparing finished kits for shipment
  • Manage kit supply ordering and track inventory of kit components
  • Collaborate with sales, education, creative, and fulfillment teams to ensure kits meet event specifications and deadlines

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in assembly and labeling
  • Highly organized with solid time management and ability to prioritize competing deadlines
  • Comfortable with basic math and measuring
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly
  • Experience in kitting, assembly, fulfillment, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Familiarity with craft supplies, paper crafting, or hobby products is a plus

About the Role

This is a focused, independent role — you'll spend most of your time executing kit builds with precision and care rather than in meetings. You'll work closely with a collaborative team when large-scale kitting projects require extra hands.

Spellbinders and Hero Arts are passionate craft brands with loyal communities of makers. The kits you build go directly into the hands of crafters at events and in retail stores across the country.

Compensation

Pay rate: Starting at $17/hour (with opportunities to early quarterly raises for good attendance)

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), paid holidays & vacation

Anyone interested in the position should send a resume and cover letter to Nicole Westervelt at nwestervelt@spellbinders.us.
