The Mylar Shims (F) comes in a set of two thin white plates. They are designed to be used with the Spellbinders® Platinum™ ® and Platinum 6™ ® Die-Cutting Machines. The plates assist in die-cutting thin metal cutting dies, and embossing folders by filling a gap within the layers of a die-cutting or embossing sandwich or to be level, when needed.

What a difference!

These shims are so much better than trying to find the right number of paper scraps to set everything at the perfect height. I get excellent cuts with even the most intricate dies.
