The Mylar Shims (F) comes in a set of two thin white plates. They are designed to be used with the Spellbinders® Platinum™ ® and Platinum 6™ ® Die-Cutting Machines. The plates assist in die-cutting thin metal cutting dies, and embossing folders by filling a gap within the layers of a die-cutting or embossing sandwich or to be level, when needed.

Excellent Shims

I don't have a Platinum just yet. I bought these anyway. They're perfect when I need a little extra oomph for any die cutting machine I'm using and wat better than using a few sheets of paper.

These are so handy!
