Hi everyone! This is Jennifer Rustioni from
@armieritagli! I’m so happy to be back on the Spellbinders Blog! Today I share with you a step-by-step tutorial of the card I realized featuring the
Uchida Le Pen Neon! These pens are so fun to use!

I chose to use the
Uchida Le Pen Neon to create a CAS card. I realized an easy coloring different from my usual, and I had so much fun to do it!

For my project, I used the
Stampendous Little Monsters Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. These monsters are so fun and cute, aren’t they?? Well, I stamped a monster on a white card stock using the
Distress Oxide Antique Linen, to have a definite but delicate effect. I chose to color it in the shades of rainbow.

I started to color my monster with pink and orange, also covering the lines of my subject, to have a no-line effect.

I continue to color it adding the following colors: yellow, green, light blue, and violet. As you can see, I have sharply divided the different color areas. It is important here not to overlap the different colors because otherwise you will get a "messy" effect.

Then, I colored the spikes on the monster's back always following the rainbow sequence.

At this point, I colored the open mouth with the pink and black. I covered the teeth and the eyes with a white gel pen and then added the pupils with a black pen.

I realized the cast shadows blending a black pastel pencil with a blending stump to give my monster a 3D effect and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

At last, I stamped the sentiment and added some small colored hearts.
