Hi there, this is
Annie Williams, and today I’m thrilled to create this fun friendship card step-by-step with you made with the new
Say Cheese Classic Mouse Collection from Spellbinders and Simple Stories. With adorable die sets, sweet sentiments, and colorful papers and stickers, this collection is perfect for creating cute cards for a variety of occasions.

Trim two pieces of patterned paper from the
Say Cheese Classic Mouse 6x8 Paper Pad to 3.5” x 5” and adhere to the front of a 5” x 7” top-folding card base with
tape runner. (I chose two of the smaller patterns from the pad to keep the focus on my die-cuts later.)

To cover the seam between the two patterns and add a nice finishing touch to the background, choose a border sticker from the
Say Cheese Classic Mouse Sticker Book and press it down in the middle of the card.

To trim off the overhanging bits of the border sticker, turn the card over and use
long scissors butted up against the edge of the card.

Die cut three sentiment frames and their circle backers from
Celestial,
Beeswax,
Anchor, and
Alabaster Cardstock using the
Frames & Sentiments Die Set. (I thought they were all so cute, I wanted to add several of them!)

Adhere the circular frames to the backers with liquid glue. For the gray circle, add hearts cut from
Poppy and
Raven Cardstock in the center. Leave the other two circles empty and do not fully adhere the bottom of the frame to its backer as shown.

Die cut
Raven,
Poppy, and white cardstock using the
Steamboat Willie Duo Die Set.

Assemble the boy and girl mouse with liquid glue. (It’s easy to adhere tiny die-cuts using a
jewel picker!) Since I knew you wouldn’t see their legs in my final card design, I didn’t assemble anything below the waist.

Snip off the legs from the die-cut characters beneath the shorts and the skirt with a pair of
long scissors.

Tuck the characters just a tiny bit under the bottom edge of the remaining circular frames and adhere them down with
liquid glue.

Apply
liquid glue to seal up the bottom of the circular frames nicely.

Add the gray-framed die-cut directly to the card front with
liquid glue, but pop the frames containing the cute characters up with a few
foam squares.

Add one more heart from the
Frames & Sentiments Die Set between the mouse friends for a little fun!
