Hi there, this is
Annie Williams, and I’m thrilled to create this pretty autumn birthday card step-by-step with you today using the new
Texture & Foliage Collection by Suzanne Hue.

The beautiful sentiments and versatile embossing folders in this collection are the perfect addition to some of Suzanne’s previously released wreath dies. Here I’m creating an easy wreath card made for a loved one’s autumn birthday.

Apply Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide Ink to the front flap of the
Linen 3D Embossing Folder using a brayer (this helps ensure even ink coverage).

Trim a piece of
Fawn Cardstock to 4” x 5.25”. Carefully place it inside the inked embossing folder and run it through your die-cutting machine using the correct sandwich for 3D embossing folders.

Die cut
Rainforest and
Fern Cardstock five times each using the leaf sprig die from the
Garden Wreath Add-Ons Die Set.

Adhere the embossed panel onto a top-folding A2-sized white card base with a
tape runner. Add a circle of Fern die-cut leafy sprigs on top of the card front with
liquid glue.

Next, add a circle of
Rainforest die-cut leafy sprigs on top of the darker wreath layer with
liquid glue, offsetting the layers to give the appearance of a fuller wreath.

Die cut white,
Beeswax,
Mirror Gold, and
Truffle Cardstock using the flower and center dies from the
Build-A-Wreath Die Set.

Apply Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink to the flower centers with a sponge dauber for depth and shading.

Apply
Gold Hot Foil to white cardstock using the
Birthday Wishes Sentiments Press Plate and the
Glimmer Hot Foil System.

Die cut all of the sentiments out in one pass using the coordinating die from the
Birthday Wishes Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set. (Secure the die in place with
Best Ever Craft Tape to ensure a perfect cut!)

Add the flowers and sentiment to the card front using
foam squares.

Embellish with
Gold Mix Gems. (I like to use a “pokey tool” to pick and place gems on my card front.)

I hope you enjoyed this pretty autumn card project. Thank you so much for stopping by today. You can find more inspiration over at my blog
