Hello, crafty friends! This is
Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring
Bayfair by Rosie’s Studio Card Maker’s Kit and add-ons.

It’s been a while since I’ve had this much fun playing with a card kit! I absolutely love the color palette and various elements included in the card kit, as well as the add-ons, which all provide so much elegance and texture to the cards.

This first card features patterned paper, ephemera, button embellishments, and puffy stickers from the
Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit. All of these elements are sold separately, too. I used the coordinating
Bayfair 12” x 12” Cardstock Pack but you can buy these cardstock colors individually or you may already have them in your stash.

To create the background, I used the
Precision Layering A2 A Dies to cut an A2 panel of
Indigo cardstock which I adhered to the card base. Then I used the largest of the stitched rectangles from the
Nested Postage Labels & Tags Dies to cut the patterned paper panel, as well as the three smaller tickets. One of the tickets was cut from
Pink Sand cardstock.

I popped up all three tickets, as well as the vase ephemera and button embellishment with foam squares. Then I die-cut three small posies from the
Floral Spray Dies using
Mirror Gold cardstock and added puffy stickers to the centers.

This second card features a card base cut from
Dahlia cardstock using the largest of the
Nested Postage Labels & Tags Dies and a patterned paper panel cut from the largest of the stitched rectangle dies from the same die set.

I selected five of the ephemera pieces and arranged them on the card. I added small pieces of heavyweight cardstock to the back to give them some stiffness before popping them onto the panel with foam squares.
I love that the
Bayfair Cardstock Diet Ephemera 136pk includes two of each so you don’t have to worry about using up your favorite pieces. You can also buy extras since these ephemera packs are sold separately.

To finish, I added a sentiment from the
Bayfair Chipboard Embellishments, included with the kit and sold separately.

My last card features patterned paper from the
Bayfair 6x6” Designer Paper Pad, which I cut using the largest of the
Precision Layering A2 A Dies. Then I used most of the colors from the
Bayfair 12” x 12” Cardstock Pack to cut all these floral and foliage pieces from the
Floral Spray Dies.

One of the largest flowers and the leaves were cut from patterned paper from the card kit. All three of the flowers were also layered with vellum for added interested and to help them pop off the patterned background.

After gluing all the layers together, I popped up all five flowers with foam squares and glued the stems, leaves, and small blue flowers flat on the striped paper. To finish, I added a few
Bella Pearls and a sentiment from the
Bayfair Chipboard Embellishments.
I hope you find inspiration from this trio of cards featuring all of these products from the Bayfair Collection! All of the coordinating products in these cardmaking kits are a fun and easy way to create multiple cards at the same time.
