I believe that the
Gorgeous You Collection and
Mini Wax Seals Collection will be the perfect choice for Mother’s Day or birthday cards for women who enjoy makeup. I just loved creating each card using the collection because I love to have makeup items for me. I made three cards featuring the Gorgeous You mini wax seals Collection and the
Gorgeous You Collection.

Fancy Perfume Shaker Card
First, I embossed
the Petite Bow pattern (3DEOM FEB25) on the brushed black card stock.
Colored the bows with the
Gold Metallic Marker.
I used
the Gorgeous You Florals Dies to die-cut flowers from
Rainforest,
Blush, Tutu card stock.
For
the Perfume Bottle, I die-cut it on holographic card stock (you can also use
Silver Metallic Card Stock as a substitute).
I added acetate to the shaker and filled the bottle with
Pink Opalescent sequins.
I applied black ink to the sentiments using
the Flawless Sentiments Press Plate and Die set, then die-cut it with
the Notched Corner frame die on
BetterPress Cotton card stock.
I utilized
gold card stock for both the stopper and the sentiment frame. I used the Pearl Metallic card stock from
the Rose Gold Assortment Treasure Card Stock for the bow.
I blended
white and
coral wax beads and sealed them with
the flower mini 3D wax seal.
I colored the flower on the wax seal with a
gold metallic marker. I attached the wax seal to the box with glue.
Lip Gloss Gift Box Card
The black and white design on Sephora’s shopping bag inspired me. I chose striped black and white paper from my collection for the background. I created a box frame using
the perfect touch rectangle and tag die.
I used the
white glitter card stock for the inside of the frame.
I utilized
the Gorgeous You Makeup Die set to create the lip gloss. The base was made from holographic cardstock, and the colors featured were
Blush,
Tutu, Fruit Punch (discontinued), and
wild berry cardstock. I completed the design using lip gloss toppers made from black and
gold metallic cardstock.
I used
the Perfume Bottle die set to die-cut the bow from
Tutu card stock.
I mixed pink and wild berry beads from the
PINK Must–Have Wax Bead Mix and sealed them with the
Butterfly 3D Mini Wax Seal. I colored the butterfly with
a gold metallic marker.
I used gold hot foil to imprint the sentiments from
the Flawless Sentiments Press Plate onto black card stock, then die-cut it with one of the dies from
the Perfume Bottle set.
I attached the sentiments with
the foam stickers to the card.
Cosmetic Pouch Gift Card Holder Card
I used
the My Hearts 3D embossing folder to emboss onto
the Chiffon Card Stock. I colored the hearts and cross lines with
a silver metallic marker to enhance the background.
I used
the Gorgeous You Make-up bag die to die-cut the pouch from
silver glitter cardstock. Then, I folded the
fog cardstock and die-cut it with the same die, ensuring the folded edge aligned with the bottom of the bag without cutting through. This technique connects the two inner bag parts as a single piece.
I cut
a heart shape from
fog cardstock to create the side component that keeps the gift card inside the pouch. I scored three lines, folded the heart, and attached it to the pouch's inner side.
I used the Velcro inside of the pouch to open and close.
I wanted to see what the sentiment looked like on the metal label, so I pressed the sentiment from
the flawless Sentiments Press plate and die set without ink
on the Silver Metallic cardstock.
I die-cut the cosmetics using
Silver and
Gold metallic,
tutu, and
wild berry card stock with the
Gorgeous You Make-Up die, then assembled and placed them inside the pouch.
To complete the card, I created a wax seal with
the Bow 3D mini wax seal, utilizing
the Coral Must Have Wax Bead mix. I also colored the bow with
a Silver Metallic Marker.
I had an amazing time exploring the
