Hi there, this is
Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of pretty floral cards made with the new
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection from Simple Stories and Spellbinders. The gorgeous papers, embellishments, and die sets in this collection inspired me to create three soft springtime cards for a variety of occasions.
Flower Cart Thank You Card
The
Flower Cart Die Set from the collection is stunning and I couldn’t wait to put it together first. Here I created a little scene with some patterned paper and dies from the collection for a simple and pretty thank you card.

Die cut various colors of cardstock using the cart dies from the
Flower Cart Die Set and assemble with liquid glue. Add the sentiment sign cut from white cardstock and flower bunches cut from
Rainforest,
Blush, and
Lavender Cardstocks. To create galvanized buckets for the flowers, die-cut
Brushed Silver Cardstock and assemble with liquid glue.

Trim a piece of notebook paper-inspired patterned paper from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection Kit to 4.25” x 5.5” and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base using a tape runner. Die cut
Peridot Cardstock with the stitched border die from the
Stitch & Dots Scallop Border Die Set and adhere it along the bottom to create the grass. Pop the cart and buckets up on top of the card front with foam adhesive and add the love flag sticker from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection Kit to the awning of the cart.
Floral Wreath Celebration Card
The
Scalloped Journal Cards Die Set creates the perfect focal point for simple and pretty floral cards. Here I added some fun sentiments to create this easy celebration/encouragement card.

Die cut
Acorn,
Lavender, and white cardstock using the scalloped circle dies from the
Scalloped Journal Cards Die Set. Stamp a sentiment from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Stamp Set in brown ink onto the white die-cut and layer the circles together with liquid glue. Die cut the floral swag out of various colors of cardstock and assemble as shown before adhering it to the lower right corner of the sentiment panel. Embellish flower centers with
Gold Mix Gems.

Trim a piece of patterned paper from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe 6x8 Paper Pad to 4” x 5.25”, mat it with
Acorn Cardstock, and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. Pop the focal image up on top of the card front with foam adhesive. Mat the sentiment sticker from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection Kit with
Acorn Cardstock and add it to the card front with more foam adhesive.
Floral Love Card
Lastly, I thought the borders from the
Stitch & Dots Scallop Border Die Set could help create a fun background to use with some of the gorgeous die-cuts from the collection.

Die cut various colors of cardstock using the border dies from the
Stitch & Dots Scallop Border Die Set and adhere together with liquid glue (alternating stitched and dotted borders) to form a border element measuring about 2” x 5.5”. Trim a piece of patterned paper from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe 6x8 Paper Pad to 4.25” x 5.5”, adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner, and add the scalloped border on top with liquid glue.

Stamp the banner and a sentiment from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Stamp Set in brown ink onto white cardstock and trim out with a pair of scissors. Add the flower basket and butterfly from the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Bits & Pieces to the front of the card with foam adhesive and pop the sentiment banner up in the top right corner with more foam adhesive. Embellish with
Crystal Mix Gems.
